This is a WWII theater made bowie combat knife that is ID d' to owner on the blade. Marked Lt. G.L. Larson in script. Knife is 12 1/2" long, blade is 8" long and 1 1/8" wide and has a clip point blade. The handle is a stacked material that looks like aircraft circuit board, plexiglass and aluminum, has an aluminum butt cap with the initials GLL 4. The handle was cleaned for the initials to show on the butt, blade has not been cleaned. The guard is oval aluminum. The sheath is leather and worked on the front with designs and a buffalo and has faint initials GLL and 44. On the back of the sheath at the top is stamped the number 29, has a single belt loop riveted on. This is a nice large theater knife with ID that can be traced. Some of you guys out there that are signed up on these WWII soldiers and sailors rosters, look him up and let me know. There are no cracks in handle material and handle is tight. This knife came out of an estate sale in Kansas City, Missouri years ago. Shipping is .00 USPS, email any questions or info and thanks for looking.
