WWII ?? ERA BAYONET WITH PHOTOGRAPHS IN HANDLE

This auction is for an interesting vintage bayonet...guessing WWII era but not positive.  Measures approx. 20" long overall, blade is approx. 15 1/2" long.  Marked on one side of the blade with two hallmarks.  Not sure of the origin, might be US but we do not know.  Clear grips have vintage photographs under them, different photo on each side.  In good overall condition, handles are tight.  Looks to have been painted black at some point and some of the black paint remains.  Surface rust and light pitting in places.  Displays well.
