🐇 Vtg Mexican Mexico White Rabbit Tonala Hand Painted Pottery Wall Plate Plaque
A vintage Tonala earthenware pottery display plate handmade in Mexico. Unsigned. Marked Mexico on the back.
Hand painted with a charming scene of a white rabbit. Has a cross-hatch design and stripes around the rim.
The top side has been burnished - rubbed down with a rock, to give a smooth and slightly shiny finish. The colors are beautiful.
Excellent condition - no chips or cracks. There are a few scratches on the front. Hard to see, I tried to get a good photo. See last photo. There is a hanger on back made out of clay.
Approximately 7” in diameter x 1” deep.
