    Description

    Up for auction a vintage Chambersburg Engineering Company stainless steel coaster or ashtray advertising the CECO forging drop hammer machine.  This piece of equipment was promoted as a 'Boardless Board Drop Hammer' increasing efficiency and production.
    The coaster measures 3 5/8" in diameter, with a rim rise of 1/4" and weighs 1.4 ounces prior to packing for shipping.  Will ship in a 6x6x3 box.
    This piece is in good used vintage condition.  The rim edge feels a bit rough.  The stamped details are crisp, clean and well executed.  I see a couple of minor scratches on the top and bottom.
