    Description

Up for bids is a rare and beautiful circa 1900 pitcher made in Barrio De La Luz, an area in the city of Pueblo, Mexico. Possibly used for pulque or another beverage. It features an image of the Virgen de Guadalupe as well as flowers, leaves, and intricate bands of decoration on the neck. Pitcher has an iridescent glaze. It measures 9" tall and 24 1/4" around the bulbous part of the middle.
Pitcher is in excellent condition with a minor chip on the lip commensurate with age. No cracks or restoration. Please enlarge the photos as they are part of my description. Absolutely gorgeous!
Please email if you have questions. Shipping via Priority Mail & Insured.
*Please disregard white spots as they are caused by lighting and do not appear on the pitcher.
