Tones, shades of Brown, Green, Blue, Cream, Rust and Black... It is elaborately painted with Floral motifs covering her body...
This piece was all
handmade, hand painted and Burnished in Tolana, Jalisco Mexico
.  It is a wonderful example of Mexican Folk art and
barro brunido
Ceramic traditions from this area of Mexico.
It measures 11 inches tall by 7 inches Long and 3 3/4 inches wide.
This is a newly made piece and is signed
Chon Chon
on the bottom.  Please note there
may be imperfections in the painted details
on this Cat, this is
not uncommon for pottery from Tonala
and only adds to the
handmade nature
of this piece.
