This is a superb Staffordshire of mr & mrs caudle seated figures mounted onto the decorative base with the gilt script of which:
During our research we have been informed it cer
tainly dates from the mid 19th century.

Both seated, he to the left and she to the right. He is wearing a hat, jacket, waistcoat and trousers and she, a bonnet and long length dress. She has hold of the brim of his hat as to pull it off.
Pottery, ceramic.
Mounted onto the decorative base with the gilt script.
It has an overall height of about 6inches.
Max base size of about 4.75 x 3.25in
