his is a superb Staffordshire jug or pitcher with, the camels & elephants portrayed pulling carriages with figures to the circumference of which:
During our research we have been informed it cer
tainly dates from the mid 19th century.

To the circumference:
camels and elephants portrayed pulling carriages with the figures with:
vine leaves, grapes and other.
It has an overall height of about 8.25inches.
Max overall dia including the spout & handle of about 7in
ches with
size of the open top, of about 4.75 x 4inches.
Max base dia of about 5.75inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is:
subject to:
an early repair to the handle to the top & bottom of.
a chip to the base edge with:
it has areas of early restoration to the inner rim.
