his is a superb Staffordshire male toby figure salts, with, the blue willow decoration to the hat and the base of which:
During our research we have been informed it cer
tainly dates from the early 19th century.
Dates about c1820s.
Staffordshire, England origin.
Salts.
Male toby figure portrayed with an ale.
well coloured with:
the blue willow decoration to the circumference of the hat and the circular base.
Mounted onto the decorative circular hollow base.
It has an overall height of about 5.5inches.
Max overall base dia of about 2.5in
ches with
size of the hat, open top, of about 2.25inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is:
excellent and is not subject to any major blemishes except:
chipping to the edge of the hat and a chip to the dia of the base edge.
