The capable stalk-and-ambush predator cougar creeps along the underbrush hunting an elk or anything it can catch with it's powerful might. These noble cats are symbols of courage and power. This falls in line with the cougar being associated with the sun, and solar vibrancy in some cultures (South American, Central American). Other attributes and symbolic cougar meanings are strength, nobility, patience, silence, decision, action, guardianship, leadership and self-assurance. The handmade bronze sculpture was molded using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for conservation. It stands free without a base with the European Bronze Finery stamp of quality of products.
