ephemera. Autry was a star of Western movies and a singing cowboy.
Pinback button featuring Autry mounted on his horse

. Yellow background. A little rust around the back rim of the pin. Crazing in the front surface of the pin.

program booklet dated Jan. 21, 1951
. Autry appeared at the
Bradley Fieldhouse
in
Peoria, Illinois
as a benefits program sponsored by the Optimist Club of Peoria. Also appearing were
Smiley Burnette
, comedy vocalist; Rufe Davis, comedy star; Eddie Peabody, banjo king; Johnny Boyd, Carl Cotner, Judy Clark, vocalist; the Knapps, rodeo acrobatic ropers; the Pinafores, vocalist; Jemez Indians, Barbara Bardo, rope twirler; and the Winters Sisters acrobatic act. Includes local advertisements, articles about Autry and Davis. Booklet has darkened at right edge on back cover. Pages are clean and unmarked. Small white damaged spot at the lower left corner of the front cover.

Color photo of Autry on the front cover and of Davis on the back cover. Small fold in lower right corner of front cover and lower left corner of back cover. Pages are clean and unmarked.
Glossy color photo
of Autry with text about the Jan. 21 performance in Peoria at the bottom of the photo. Measures 7 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches. Smudges in white margin around the photo and on the back. Price has been obliterated with white marker in upper left corner of photo back.
Matte finish color picture
of Autry and Champ. Measures 5 x 7 inches. Horizontal crease in upper left corner. At one time the picture was affixed to soething else, and there are large damage spots where it was torn from another surface. These spots are not visible on the front of the picture.
Form letter
addressed "Dear friend" and thanking the recipient for requesting a photo of Autry and Champ. (This is apparently the matte photo listed above.) It contains references to the last three movies he has made: Sierra Sue, Cowboy Serenade, and The Heart of Texas. Facsimile signature. Small tear at the right edge. Vertical fold near the right edge. Like the photo, this letter has been removed from another surface. There are stains from the adhesive on the face of the letter. Paper has darkened with age.
