Listing today for sale great player GETZEN 90 DELUXE Bb TRUMPET with Whole horn is a very unique Getzen design with unique bracings etc... See photos . This is earlier Getzen design serial #20xxx.
This horn is a unique GETZEN early design . I used to play test and compare lots of horns together . A couple of days ago test driven it at home and this horn plays awesome and is very handy to hold . It also could be the large bore as slides look pretty large but my caliper battery is out . It’s a great jazz horn and should do in lead work as well. It’s only here because I’m selling part of my collection.
This horn is in great near mint shape which appears to be original . I can clearly see bell flare connection to bell pipe which clearly indicates two piece bell and it would disappear with relacquer process. There are 2 pin sized pings there very near it. The bell letters name / logo can be clearly read and seen. There is minor acid bleed near the bell edge towards bottom when horn is played not really visible and another small wear near bottom cap. ( see photos ). Also found and bit of wear on 2nd piston and small pin sized ding on 1st piston. Please know that these do not affect any movement or compression . Valves are smooth and fast with great compression. Horn has been recently chem cleaned and springs, felt same corks were replaced. It’s ready to play upon receipt and looks gorgeous . Don’t miss out .
Horn comes with no case, no mouthpiece. Maybe you like test drive horns and have plenty of cases and mouthpieces. If not i have few cases listed on my other listings if you are interested in getting the case. I will safely bubble wrap and ship this horn ASAP to you. Thank you
