Ford FE 390 406 427 428 Oil Fill Tube Cap

This listing is for a new oil fill tube cap/plug. This is designed to close your crank case when ventilating through the valve covers which is what Ford later did with the FE (and most all future engines Ford produced). This cap is designed to fit the original FE oil fill tube and allows it to be used as an oil fill location exclusively, sealing off the lower half of your crankcase. This is not like the cheap loosefitting plastic/ rubber ones you will find elsewhere. This Is made from billet aluminum and uses three O-rings to seal your engine. Please remember like any O-ring that is used on the internal combustion engine we strongly suggest lubricating the O-ring and seal location with motor oil to create a better seal that will not lock up.
