fabulous bronze nude on horseshoe; French Susse Fres, Recipon, turn of century

Fantastic antique bronze statue of nude woman atop horseshoe, banging in nails. It is signed Recipon, and has the foundry mark. This one is just 4" tall, but an absolute giant in character. The lovely lady herself is about 5 5/8" hand to toe, in good condition, and quite rare. Excellent detail, and marvelous patina. Delightful to look at, and this quality and grace rises in value.
