    Description

    This is a beautiful bone china cup and saucer set that was made in England by two different companies.
    The uniquely shaped cup measures approximately 2 5/8” in height and 4” in width (including handle) and features a bright white background that is decorated with a pastel floral motif and shiny gold trim.
    It is marked on the base with a gold “Sampson Smith Old Royal” backstamp (used from 1950-1963) and registration numbers that I was unable to decipher.
    The saucer measures approximately 5 5/8” in diameter and features a lovely pastel pink/lavender color and brilliant gold trim.
    It is marked on the base with the green “Elizabethan” backstamp.
    Despite slight wear to the gold trim on both pieces and manufacturing stilt marks on the saucer, this cup and saucer set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, discolorations or any evidence of damage.
