    OFF BOARD KIT OR 2 LIGHT CONFIGURATION
    OO GAUGE - 4mm SCALE
    The station 'OFF' board is used in conjunction with a platform starter signal
    where the guard cannot see the signal at the end of the platform. This might be
    caused by a train blocking the Guards view of the signal or where the platform
    curves out of sight. When illuminated the Guard may give the Driver right
    way (clearance) to proceed from the station. Where upon, the Driver checks the
    platform starter signal for the proceed aspect (green light) before moving the
    train.
    Please carefully remove the parts from the sprue provided, checking that all
    parts are present and undamaged. We have provided a resister for this kit,
    which must be soldered to the BLUE wire before you attempt to illuminate the
    sign, this wire is the NEGATIVE wire and should be connected to a suitable 12V
    supply. The POSITIVE wire is BLACK.
    1.) Please choose which variant you wish to build either the OFF shown
    above or the ON signal provided.
    2.) Use the smallest amount of glue to secure the variant of your choice to
    the front of the clear cube provided, ensuring that the LED hole is at
    the back and the wiring groove is facing downwards.
    3.) Slide the clear cube into the body pushing it as far as it will go. This is
    a tight fit and glue should only be applied if required.
    4.) Having soldered the resister to the BLUE wire, place it into the back
    of the clear cube. DO NOT GLUE THIS PART.
    5.) Place the back door on the kit after applying the smallest amount of
    glue to secure it.
    The mountings varied from station to station. Many used the existing signal posts
    and these are available as an accessory, others were secured to the platform roof
    with frames that can easily be fabricated
