This is a beautiful antique gesso and gilt framed Victorian picture. The intricate gesso work is amazing! It is in very good condition.  The actual art work is backed by an old New York City newspaper which may have been added at a later date.
The unique opening to the frame adds to the beauty of this frame. It measures 19x19 with the well frame being 14x14".
