Description

c1880 ANTIQUE LODEL MODEL 3 CAST IRON LETTERPRESS PRINTING LETTER PRESS 8" X 12". No chase, I believe it's a 8" x 12. the chase  platform physically measures 7 1/2" x 12". it cycles smoothly and was well lubricated over the years. The press was found in a printing shop and was used up until the shop closed. Early 1900s green paint job now worn and peeling. Some bolts and nuts are non original, some surface oxidation. After photos taken, I removed the roller assembly and will remove the front handle section for shipping as multiple packages. I marked the parts with chalk, but it may rub off in shipping. However reassembly should be fairly self explanatory, I left bolts and nuts in the pieces  I did notice 1 bolt has slightly bent on the roller assembly but it did not affect operation and 1 bolt was used to replace a pin on the handle assembly, held with a cotter pin but it seems to be repair that does not affect the operation.
Fully assembled it weighs over 100lbs, it's a large table top model. The press measures about 36"l x 13"w x 21"h. A nice find.
