Antique Wooden Leaf Design Handmade Tramp Art Picture Frame fits up to 9" x 6"

Up for sale is an Antique Wooden Tramp Art Style Picture Frame. Circa 1880-1920s.
The frame features a nail-less construction (aside from nails for the backing piece) with a hand carved design of maple leaves in the corners. The frame was likely made somewhere in Pennsylvania as this style of frame was very popular among folk artists there around the turn of the century.
There are parts of the design that are broken off around 3 of the 4 sides of the border and a few very small chips on the leaves as seen in the photos. There is only 1 eyelet in the back of the frame. The glass and nails that hold in the backing piece are modern replacements and the backing piece is a period correct replacement. Overall the frame still displays beautifully.

Fits photos up to - 9" x 6"
