Antique BOHLAND & FUCHS Czecho Slovakia Trumpet with Bobby DeNicola Mouthpiece
I know very little about this instrument. There is an Anchor mark on the center vertical tube and that's how I found out the maker.
It dates from 1919-1938.
On the reverse of the 3 vertical tubes are 3 numbers. I believe they read 49, 4 and 51.
There are 2 markings on the inner part of the tube (on 2 different sections): A.1.P and Bb.1.P (Bflat). The mouthpiece is stamped
13C DeNicola Trenton N.J.
I was able to get sound from this instrument.
Dimensions: 20 1/2" in length, bell is 4 3/4" diameter.
Condition: As found. One notable dent near the bell and a several smaller dents. The bell also has a small ding. Tarnished, needs cleaning and polishing.
