    Description

    Offered for your consideration is a wonderful Antique Arts and Crafts Cigar Ashtray and Matchbook Holder.  This large cigar ashtray was made by Silvercrest.  This trademark was used by Smith Metal Arts Company formed in 1919 by Frederick Smith, head salesman for Heintz Metal Arts Shop.  The match book holder has a beautiful Arts and Crafts decoration.  It is in excellent condition with an excellent patina.  It measures 8 inches in diameter to the outer edge.  The ashtray opening is 6 ¾ inches in diameter and is 2 ¾ inch deep.  The bottom is marked:  Decorated Bronze / Silvercrest.  This is the perfect addition to your Arts and Crafts collection and décor.
