Atzompa is a town outside the city of Oaxaca that is
famous for it's pottery tradition.
The Pottery tradition in
Aztompa dates back to Pre-Hispanic
times.  There is a wonderful
archeological site
of the ancient city of Atzompa just up the hill from the modern town.
